It is my intention to inform you of the lies so that they can be avoided and show how well the Occupy the City opportunity stacks up.

Lie #1 - Everyone is your prospect.

Thinking that everyone is your prospect leads you to pester people you would never think to do BUSINESS with otherwise. Why would you want to develop a business with the local Denny’s waitress, the gas station attendant, or your checkout girl at Wal-mart? I know for the most part I wouldn’t. Unless I knew they have talents in areas that I knew would benefit my business, I would keep my mouth shut about my network marketing opportunity.
The key to attraction marketing is in having interested prospects contacting you for more information. The key to success is not in bothering people who may not even want to talk to you and vice versa.
In the first part of the application process with Occupy the City, we follow up applicants with an interview. The interviewer is experienced and the prospects who qualify are then followed up with via individual and conference calls. As a new member you are not asked to interview prospects on your own.
