Upon hearing the name Occupy the City I felt immediately that I needed to learn more.
I grew up in a major metropolis and the name gave me an immediate feeling of empowerment. To me it says
“Control your life path, don’t just be a passenger on this train called life.”
But that’s just me. Relatives of mine don’t get it at all. They also have no idea what I do with all of the time I spent in front of my laptop. That’s okay with me. I’ve always been one to go into esoteric or “weird” stuff.
After all while all my high school friends were into The Grateful Dead, I was learning how to play jazz standards on guitar. I wanted to play like Jerry not just worship him.
I had to travel from the projects in Brooklyn to my music school behind Juillard, Alice Tully Hall, and the Lincoln Center with my guitar on my back.
Upon returning home one day I was told to go back to the Village, I guess I didn’t have the required hair extensions or big enough earrings.
Being ordinary is boring, I want to be extraordinary.
If your like me and ready to forge your own way in this crazy thing called life- Check out the Occupy the City Home Based Business Opportunity today !
