Okay so there’s starting to be a lot of buzz about Twitter. You may be wondering what it is and if it is worth checking out.

Twitter is basically a limited blog. Your posts are quick blurbs about what you are doing.

People can “follow” you , meaning when they log into their account they will see your recent posts. You can “follow” others by visiting their page and clicking the Follow link. Then you will see what they are up to.

You may be asking your self :

“Should I be following a lot of people?, what ’s the benefit for me?”

Admittedly at first I was wary of following tons of people. I thought “When I login won’t I have way too much to read?”

Luckily Twitter posts are short, and lend themselves to quick scanning. And now I find it quite entertaining. Kinda like the satisfaction from watching TMZ, or ET.

The benefit of following others is that their followers will see you, and maybe start to follow you too.

And if you post on all the places you are putting content on the web, people will go there from your Twitter post. Giving all your great articles more exposure!
